Rosenthal – Paper Bag Vase Natural 18cm

It was always in Phillip Rosenthal’s DNA that he would start a porcelain business because his parents were also porcelain merchants. Rosenthal was founded in 1879 in Bavaria. The company has a longstanding history with the world’s top designers such as Gianni Versace, a fashion designer and Eduardo Paolozzi., a sculptor.

Looking through Rosenthal’s collections it’s very clear that the designers like products that serve two purposes, the first being functionality and the second being a fashion statement.

Guests will have lots of questions when they first see the Paper Bag Vase in your home. I know my first question when I saw it was, “what is that made out of?” and then answer is, porcelain. It’s been so well crafted that it looks like a genuine paper bag with crinkles. That’s what makes it fascinating to look at. It’s like being in a museum where you’re told not to touch the artefacts.
